Tomek biegnie dla Fundacji Rak'n'Roll! // Tomek is running for Rak'n'Roll charity!

Pierwszy raz miałem przyjemność wziąć udział w akcji #BiegamDobrze podczas Maratonu Warszawskiego w 2015 roku. Dokładnie po dwóch latach wracam z nową energią, ogromną radością i jeszcze lepszą formą (mam taką cichą nadzieją) – i po raz kolejny organizuję zbiórkę dla najbardziej potrzebujących!
Zarówno w 2015, jak i w 2017 roku wybrałem fundację „Rak’n’Roll” nie bez powodu. Fundacja wykonuje świetną pracę – zmienia sposób myślenia o chorobie nowotworowej, działając na rzecz poprawy jakości życia chorych na raka. Niestety rak jest bardzo bliskim mi zagadnieniem – okrutna choroba, która przychodzi niespodziewanie i działa nadzwyczaj skutecznie.
Moim osobistym wyzwaniem będzie pokonanie magicznej bariery 3 godzin. Ciężka praca przede mną, jednak Ci, którzy mnie znają wiedzą, że zawsze dotrzymuję słowa. Wraz z przelaną kwotą możecie podsyłać pomysły na kolejne wyzwania.
Ponadto zobowiązuję się do wpłacenia równowartości 5% uzbieranej kwoty pod koniec każdego miesiąca.
Pamiętajcie – DOBRO POWRACA!

In 2015 it was the first time that I had the pleasure of taking part in the charity action #BiegamDobrze during the Warsaw Marathon. After precisely two years I am back with the new energy, enormous joy and even better shape (at least I hope so) to once again raise funds in favour of those most in need!
It is not a coincidence that both in 2015 and 2017 I chose the charity foundation “Rak’n’Roll” (it is a word-play – “rak” means “cancer” so while enunciating it sounds like “Rock’n’Roll”). The charity is doing a very good job – they change an attitude held by people toward neoplastic disease and support affected people in improving their quality of life. Unfortunately, the term ‘cancer’ is pretty close to me – it is a harsh disease that suddenly appears and is extremely effective.
My personal challenge would be to go sub 3h during the marathon. The effort is undoubtedly high but all my friends know that all my promises have always been delivered. While contributing you may provide some ideas what my next challenge should be.
Furthermore, I promise to pay the equivalent of 5% of all funds raised at the end of each month.
Do remember – WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!
